Under the new agreement all MAINEiacs games, home and away, including playoffs will be broadcast live on the radio. Jeff Mannix will continue as the play by play voice for the MAINEiacs. “This is a perfect match for both 1470 ESPN and the Lewiston MAINEiacs. The #1 name in sports and the most popular sports team in the greater Lewiston/Auburn area, coming together. Plus, the addition of broadcasting all games gives fans the opportunity to follow and support the MAINEiacs no matter where they play” said Stan Manning, Director of Programming for Nassau Broadcasting-Maine. “The opportunity to have all 70-games (plus playoffs) broadcast live on 1470 ESPN was a natural transition for the Lewiston MAINEiacs.
